Moldovan authorities urge farmers to apply for livestock direct payments

Chisinau, Aug 5 /MOLDPRES/- Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) reminds that the period for submitting applications for direct payments in the livestock sector is underway. Farmers can apply for direct payments per head of livestock until September 13, 2024. For direct payments per kilogram of product (cow's, sheep's and goat's milk), applications are accepted until August 23, 2024.

For direct payments per kilogram of product, the same eligibility criteria apply, plus the requirement to provide proof of delivery of the product to processors and/or processing in their own approved establishments. Quantities of milk must be indicated in kilograms on invoices.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry encourages all livestock farmers to submit their applications to the AIPA territorial offices within the deadlines in order to benefit from the state support.
