Foreign ministry, economic development ministry set up council for promoting economic diplomacy

Chisinau, Aug 7 /MOLDPRES/- Cabinet of Ministers approved today the establishment of the Council for Economic Diplomacy. The new structure will integrate the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization to promote Moldova's economic interests abroad.

According to the decision, the initiative emphasizes the commitment of both ministries to strengthen our country's position in the global economy and boost sustainable economic development.

Thus, the Council will ensure a coherent and integrated approach to Moldova's economic interests and will facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives of our country's economic development.

Through the collaboration between the two public institutions, the Council will identify sectors of major interest and advance strategic partnerships with the potential to bring significant economic benefits to the country.

At the same time, the Council will monitor and evaluate progress, manage the efficient use of economic diplomacy resources and adapt strategies and action plans to results and challenges.
