Moldovan president meets Czech envoy

Chisinau, Aug. 9 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu met today with Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Moldova Stanislav Kázecký. The head of state thanked the ambassador for his work and appreciated the strengthening of relations between our countries during his term in office, the presidential press service has reported.

The Czech Republic is a supporter of Moldova's European path and backs important projects in our country, which improve the living standards of citizens. The Republic of Moldova cooperates with the Czech Republic in key sectors such as agriculture, energy, food industry, information technology and environmental protection.

The President also noted the importance of defense cooperation. The Head of State expressed gratitude for the assistance provided to make our country more resilient against the background of regional challenges and Russia's war against Ukraine.
