CNA officers raided Orhei State Forestry Enterprise

Chisinau, Aug 12 /MOLDPRES/- Four employees of Orhei State Forestry Enterprise are being investigated by the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA) in a case of embezzlement of timber. Two people have been detained.

According to the CNA, today the Center's officers jointly with prosecutors of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS) raided four employees of Orhei State Forestry Enterprise.

The law enforcers set that the suspects, working in managerial positions within the Orhei company, including a former director allegedly implemented a criminal scheme.

Information and documents relevant to the case were seized during the searches. Two people were detained for 72 hours.
