GOVERNMENT BUILDS: Another road in country put into operation after fixing defects

Chisinau, August 15 /MOLDPRES/- State Road Administration (ASD) announces that the final reception of the national road R2 Chisinau – Bender – Tiraspol, M5 km 18.406 – 44.64, G108 M5 Florești – Anenii Noi km 15.40 – 16.30, G109 Delacău – Bulboaca – R2, km 23.55 – 25.55 took place yesterday, after the end of the defect remediation period.

The final acceptance commission found that all notices had been rectified by the contractors in accordance with the contract specifications.

"The main objective of the rehabilitation and maintenance works carried out on the four mentioned sectors was to improve traffic conditions and increase the comfort and safety of road users. These interventions not only improved the quality of the road infrastructure, but also significantly increased the comfort and safety in traffic for all road users", indicates ASD.

For the performance of these works, four contracts for the execution of periodic maintenance works were signed, worth about 226 million lei (11.3 million euros), money allocated from the means of the Road Fund.
