Moldovagaz company to buy gas to Energocom company in next September

Chisinau, 20 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldovagaz company will continue buying gas from the Energocom company in next September as well. This will occur, after Energocom won the tender for the delivery of gas, initiated by Moldovagaz on the electronic platform of trading managed by BRM East Energy. The Moldovagaz stock company made statements to this effect today.

„Following the holding of the tender on the platform BRM EST on 19 August 2024, the provider of gas for the Moldovagaz stock company was established and namely the Energocom stock company. According to the conditions of the tender, the quantity of natural gas contracted between the sides is of 170,240 MWh or 16 million cubic metres (estimated) and the delivery price will be set on last day of August, this year. The price formula is connected with the TTF front month index and is to be published on 2 September 2024,’’ reads a press release of the enterprise.

Starting from last May, the tenders for the purchasing of natural gas have been held on the BRM East Energy platform.
