Moldova wins bronze medal, honourable mention at European Junior Olympiad in Informatics

Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Olympic team of Moldova has got one bronze medal and an honourable mention at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (EJOI), the eighth edition. The event took place in Moldova and brought together 98 pupils from 26 European states.

In all, the jury awarded nine golden medals, 16 silver ones, 30 bronze medals and nine honourable mentions.

At the prize-awarding festivity, Education and Research Minister Dan Perciun, EJOI president Biserka Yovcheva, partners and sponsors of the event congratulated the participants.

The European Junior Olympiad in Informatics took place on 16-22 August. The contest on scheduling in the informatics sector was organized by the Education and Research Ministry and the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation.
