Moldovan PM instructs institutions' mobilization to prepare for new academic year

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has instructed the mobilization of the competent institutions and the carrying out all actions necessary for the preparation for the beginning of the new academic year.  

„We prepare for 1 September. Mr. Education and Research Minister Dan Perciun,  please let us make sure that we start the new school year in an organized way and well. Mr. Interior Minister Adrian Efros, we expect the road traffic to boost in Chisinau and other settlements as of 1 September. We should make sure that we organize as good as possible,’’ Dorin Recean said in the beginning of a today’s cabinet meeting.    

The Education and Research Ministry has recently informed that the festivity dedicated to the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year would be able to be held in schools on 1 or 2 September. The decision is to be taken by each institution individually, following the consultation of the school community’s opinion.   

The first class of this school year will be titled, Together for Peace, and will be compulsory for all public or private education institutions.
