Moldovan diplomacy head meets Czech counterpart in Prague

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi had a meeting with his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavský in Prague today.
According to the minister, at the meeting, the officials discussed the subject on the deepening of the dialogue between Moldova and the Czech Republic, with emphasis on the increase in the commercial and economic exchanges and attraction of Czech investments in Moldova.
„I thanked my counterpart for the support of Moldova’s European aspirations. For his part, Jan Lipavský assured us of the full support in this respect. I also expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the government of the Czech Republic for the management of the energy crisis and the one of refugees,’’ Popsoi noted.
The Moldovan diplomacy head also said that another important aspect of the discussions had been focused on the cooperation between Moldova and the Czech Republic at international and regional organizations. ‘’We agreed on deepening the sectoral dialogue, in order better turn to account the present potential and to continue the cooperation in the implementation of projects in diverse fields in Moldova,’’ Mihai Popsoi added.
The Czech foreign affairs minister specified that Moldova can rely, in continuation, on the support and expertise of the Czech Republic in the European integration process.
In the end of the meeting, Mihai Popsoi invited Jan Lipavský to visit Moldova.
