European Chief Prosecutor to pay visit to Moldova

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ - European Chef Prosecutor Laura Codruța Kovesi on 2 September will pay a visit to Moldova, at an invitation by Justice Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru.

Thus, on 2 September at 9:00, Laura Codruța Kovesi will hold a public lecture for students of the Moldovan State University (USM). After the public lecture, the official will make press statements.

Also, the European chief prosecutor will have meetings with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean. Subsequently, a meeting with Justice Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru is scheduled, after which both officials will participate in a meeting of the Anticorruption Platform.

The last meeting to Moldova by Laura Codruța Kovesi took place in July 2022
