Prime Ministers of Poland, Luxembourg, Greece to visit Moldova in September

Chisinau, 3 September /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova in September will receive, on visits, high-ranking European officials, emphasizing the support of the partners for the way of Moldova’s modernization and European integration, the government’s communication department has reported.

The dates of the visits are as follows:

4 September 2024: Visit by Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk;

12-13 September 2024: Visit by Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Luc Frieden;

16 September 2024: Visit by Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk will come to Chisinau on 4 September. PM Dorin Recean will meet his Warsaw counterpart at 15:30. The two prime ministers will have a bilateral meeting, followed by an enlarged meeting of the delegations from the two states.

At 16:30, the officials will give a joint news conference. Mass media representatives are invited to participate and will have access based on identity cards till 16:20 (at the government’s headquarters).

During his visit, the Polish prime minister will also have meetings with President Maia Sandu and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. At the parliament’s headquarters, Donald Tusk will give a speech at a festive meeting starting from 18:30.
