Raids made at Soroca city hall, municipal council; actions regard faking of public tenders

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - Anticorruption officers today morning carry out searches in the northern Soroca city in more corruption files which regard the faking of public tenders. The actions take place including at the city hall and the municipal council.

The spokeswoman for the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA), Angela Starinschi, has confirmed the information for MOLDPRES.

„CNA carries out actions in more corruption files which regard the faking of public tenders. About 45 searches are carried out at more addresses from Soroca, including the city hall and the municipal council. Both public persons and representatives of economic agents are regarded in the files,’’ Angela Starinschi said.
