Moldovan electoral body publishes list of possible locations of polling stations from left bank of Dniester

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has published the list of possible locations of the polling stations for the voters from the left bank of Dniester, which are to be organized at the elections for the office of Moldova’s president and the republican constitutional referendum due on 20 October 2024.
The Electoral Code stipulates that, at the creation of these polling stations, CEC takes into account the data from the state Register of voters in relation to the dynamic of voters’ participation in in the last three ballots and the information or proposals of the entities in charge of the carrying out of the reintegration and security policy.
At the elaboration of proposals, they will take into account the administrative and territorial organization, the specific character of the ways of access and communication, the ensuring of voters’ access to the electoral process and to the concerned electoral bodies. The list can be accessed on CEC’s website.
The Commission will take the decision on the organization of polling stations for the ballots due on 20 October 2024 till 15 September, this year.
