Moldovan central electoral body registers another participant in referendum

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today registered another participant in the referendum due on 20 October.

Thus, the CEC members approved the application submitted by the REVIVAL Party Political Party on the registration as participant in the republican constitutional referendum due on 20 October 2024, with the option ‘’NO.’’

CEC’s data shows that, so far, five political formations have been registered as participants in the republican constitutional referendum.

The political parties and electoral blocs can submit the application on registration as participant in the referendum till 20 September 2024.

The elections for the office of Moldova’s president will be held on 20 October 2024. The republican constitutional referendum will be organized on the same day. The citizens will have to answer the question: ‘’Do you support the amendment of the Constitution for Moldova’s accession to the European Union?’’
