Moldovan electoral body registers another three participants in referendum

Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today registered two political formations and one electoral bloc as participants in the referendum due on 20 October 2024.

The CEC members approved the applications submitted by: the Coalition for Unity and Well-being Political Party, with the option ‘YES’’, the TOGETHER Electoral Bloc, with the option ‘’YES’’ and the Action and Solidarity Party, with the option ‘’YES.’’

Thus, CEC has registered nine participants in the referendum so far.

The deadline for submitting the applications as participant in the referendum is 20 September 2024.

The republican constitutional referendum will be organized on the same day with the presidential elections – 20 October 2024.The citizens will have to answer the question: ‘’Do you support the amendment of the Constitution for Moldova’s accession to the European Union?’’
