Three candidates to compete for rector's post of USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu"

Chisinau, Sep 13 /MOLDPRES/- The Institutional Strategic Development Council (CDSI) of Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy has validated three candidates for the rector's post: Emil Ceban, Oleg Lozan and Anatolie Visnevschi. The elections will be held on 2 October.

According to a communiqué issued by the CDSI, the council decisions, the activity programs and CVs of the candidates for participation in the contest for the rector's post, the electoral list (persons entitled to vote) have already been published on the institution's website.

Thus, the CDSI will organize with the support of the University administration a public debate among the candidates eligible for participation in the competition for the rector's post on 27 September 2024. CDSI informs the scientific and teaching staff, student representatives in the Senate and faculty councils (the university community entitled to vote) that the rector election process will be held on 2 October.

The elections are carried out by universal, direct, secret and free vote and will take place in the polling station located in the University Sociocultural Complex. The voting process will be carried out by the technical commission for the organization of the elections of the Rector of the USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" (President - Valentina Badrajan).

Each member of the university community eligible to vote will personally go to the polling station, will be legitimized under the identity card, will sign the electoral list, then will receive the ballot paper and will exercise his/her right to vote. If the voter has filled in the ballot paper incorrectly, the technical commission will, at his/her request, cancel the ballot paper and issue a new one, which will be mentioned in the voting report and the electoral roll.

The mandate of acting rector of the USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" Emil Ceban expires on 10 October.
