Over 200 companies to attend conference on industry development, organized for first time in Moldova

Chisinau, 17 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Over 200 companies will participate in Conference  - Pro-Industry Dialogue: Catalyst of Moldova's industrial future, which will be held for the first time in our country. The event will be organized on 3 October at the Palace of the Republic.

The conference is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with bilateral chambers of commerce and professional associations in the field of industry, with the support of the United Nations Development Program in Moldova and the Government of Switzerland, under project Resilient and inclusive markets in Moldova.

Delegations of businessmen from Ukraine, Romania, Estonia, Italy and China will participate in the conference.

CCI head Sergiu Harea said today at a press conference that the event "will mark an important moment for the industrial future of the Republic of Moldova, which is currently facing multiple challenges". "We are dedicated to facilitating a constructive dialogue between the public and private sectors, with the main goal of the sustainable and innovative development of our industry. By taking over good international practices and collaborating with development partners, we aim to create real opportunities for local producers and to strengthen the competitiveness of the Moldovan industrial sector in the long term", said Sergiu Harea.

The first edition of the annual conference will include discussion panels with public authorities and the private sector, thematic information sessions and B2B (business to business) business meetings.

In the second part of the event, two thematic sessions will be held. The first session will address support programs for entrepreneurs, dual education and innovation vouchers, while the second will explore the impact and implementation of green practices in the sustainable development of the industry.
