Electoral body registers two candidates for office of Moldova's president

Chisinau, 18 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) today approved the registration of two candidates for the presidential elections, due on 20 October 2024: Renato Usatii, nominated by the Our Party Political Party and Vasile Tarlev, nominated by the Party for Moldova’s Future Political Party.

At the same time, CEC registered the electoral symbols of the candidates for being printed on the ballot paper at the presidential elections, the candidates’ representatives in the Central Electoral Commission and confirmed the people in charge of finances (treasurers).

Till today, two candidates for the office of Moldova’s have been registered: Alexandr Stoianoglo, nominated by the Moldovan Party of Socialists and Maia Sandu, nominated by the Action and Solidarity Party.
