PHOTO IGSU divers and lifeguards to get new equipment

Chisinau, Sep 26 /MOLDPRES/- Employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) will receive specialized water rescue equipment, as well as seven motor boats and a trailer. The batch of equipment worth 280 578.05 euros is offered by the Czech government and was handed over to the rescuers on September 26.
The official donation ceremony took place at the headquarters of the General Inspectorate of Border Police in Chisinau. The event was attended by Interior Minister Adrian Efros, the IGSU leadership, Czech Ambassador to Moldova Jaromir Plisek.
The consignment worth 280,578 euros includes seven motorboats and trailers, as well as specialized water rescue equipment and other supplies necessary for the rescue and diving missions.
Also, from September 30 to October 04, 2024, 10 representatives of the Czech Republic together with 25 IGSU employees will conduct practical exercises with the delivered equipment in the specific conditions of our country.
