Moldovan president attends EPC summit

Chisinau, Nov 7 /MOLDPRES/- Head of state Maia Sandu is attending today the European Political Community (EPC) summit in Budapest, Hungary. "Together with European leaders, we are discussing the building of a more secure and prosperous future for the entire region," Maia Sandu said.
"Today, I am in Budapest at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to attend the fifth European Political Community summit. Together with European leaders, we are talking about building a more secure and prosperous future for the whole region," said Maia Sandu.
This is the first visit abroad since the re-election of Maia Sandu as President of the Republic of Moldova.
Maia Sandu will meet with European leaders, heads of state and government to discuss Moldova's economic development, regional peace and security and the European integration process.
The European Political Community was created at the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron and is a platform for political dialog on peace and security on the continent, as well as cooperation between EU and non-EU countries.
