Chisinau, Nov. 9 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova Fruct Association announces the start of registration for the 10th edition of Fruit Business Conference in the Republic of Moldova. On December 5 and 6, 2024, fruit producers and exporters as well as solution providers for the horticultural sector are expected to attend the event to share their valuable experience.
"In the last two years, our country has managed to increase the export of cherries, plums, apricots and table grapes, which have enjoyed increased demand on the EU market. At the same time, extreme climatic conditions, inflation and the decrease in purchasing power in various markets have posed major challenges, pushing exporters to adopt new production technologies and invest more in promoting their products, adapting them to the preferences of new markets," Moldova Fruct explains.
The agenda of this year's conference will focus on identifying solutions to the biggest challenges in the sector: extreme climatic conditions, ensuring fruit quality to remain competitive on the international market and getting a fair price for fruit.
The event is being organized in partnership with USAID project Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Activity in Moldova, UMAEF and Investment Agency.
