Moldovan PM conveys congratulatory message on occasion of Romania's National Day

Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean has conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of marking the National Day of Romania – 1 December. In the message, the PM said that the common values, as well as the wish to edify a better future united the citizens of Moldova and Romania.
„Congratulations, Romania! Congratulations, dear Romanians! A common past, the values which we share with pride, as well as the wish to edify together a better future, based on democracy and prosperity for all citizens, unite us,’’ the prime minister wrote on his Facebook account.
At the same time, Dorin Recean urged the Moldovans holding the Romanian citizenship to go to vote. ‘’Today, more than ever, we need a strong and European Romania. In the context, it is important that we express the democratic will through a responsible vote! Dear Romanians from everywhere, go to vote!’’ Recean urged.
Romania celebrates its National Day on 1 December. ‘’This day reminds us about the deep relation between the two banks of the Prut river,’’ President Maia Sandu has said. The 106th anniversary of the Union of the Transylvania, Banat, Crisana and Maramures with Romania is marked on 1 December. This day has been celebrated by the Romanians since 1990.
