Moldovan parliament speaker conveys congratulatory message on Romania's National Day

Chisinau, 1 December /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has come up with a congratulatory message on the occasion of the marking of the National Day of Romania. At the same time, he urged the Moldovans holding the Romanian citizenship to go to vote. The Romanians today elect their representatives to the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
„Congratulations, Romania! Congratulations, Romanians! Today, on a crucial moment for the European future of Romania, we should prove unity. With the same love for Romania, we should remember what to be together, to be Romanians means. Let’s go to vote for a strong, safe and European Romania! We should move forward with confidence!’’ Igor Grosu said on his Facebook account.
Romania celebrates its National Day on 1 December. ‘’This day reminds us about the deep relation between the two banks of the Prut river,’’ President Maia Sandu has said. The 106th anniversary of the Union of the Transylvania, Banat, Crisana and Maramures with Romania is marked on 1 December. This day has been celebrated by the Romanians since 1990.
