State of Israel changes rules of entry on its territory

Chisinau, 2 December /MOLDPRES/ - The State of Israel will change the rules of entry on its territory for the foreign citizens of the visa-free states, including the citizens of Moldova, starting from 1 January 2025.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the State of Israel introduces the ETA-IL system for the preliminary verification and approval of the entry and stay in Israel of the foreign citizens who visit the State of Israel on diverse purposes.

Thus, as of 1 January 2025, the foreign citizens of the visa-free states will not be able to enter the territory of the State of Israel without preliminary approval through the ETA-IL system.

The cost for getting ETA-IL on the purpose of entering the State of Israel will be of 25 NIS (New Israeli Shekel), - about 120 Moldovan lei.
