New local elections to be held in Temeleuți for new composition of village council

Chisinau, Dec. 4 /MOLDPRES/- Central Electoral Commission has taken note of the notification of mayor of Temeleuti village, Floresti district regarding the fulfillment of the conditions for the dissolution before the expiration of the term of the local council, which has not adopted any decision for 7 consecutive months.

According to the CEC, in this context, the commission set May 18, 2025 to organize new local elections for a new composition of Temeleuți village council, Floresti district.

According to legal provisions, new local elections shall be held if the council has been dissolved or its composition has been reduced by more than 1/3 of the number established by the Central Electoral Commission under the law.
