Moldovan parliament to hold plenary meeting on 5 December; draft State Budget for 2025 on agenda

Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/ - The drafts of the law on the state budget for 2025, the law on state social insurances and the law on the mandatory health insurance accounts for the next year will be considered at a parliament’s plenary meeting on 5 December. Also, in the second reading, the MPs will consider the rectification to the state budget and in the state social insurances budget. The parliament’s standing bureau has approved the agenda of the plenary meetings for the period 5-13 December.    

The parliament is to discuss 7 draft laws which aim at approximating the national legislation to the European Union’s one. It is about the drafts on the improvement of the mechanism of confiscation of the crime assets, on the procedure of asylum; on the freedom of establishing the providers of services; on the promotion of the equity and transparency for the enterprises users of online intermediation services; on the enforcement of the policy of remuneration of people holding decision-making offices of the society; on the classification of the carcass bovines, porcines and sheep.      

The lawmakers are also to revise the measures of support for the farmers, given the drought from this year and to ratify the Contract on financing with the European Investment Bank, in order to implement the project, Programme on Development of Forests from Moldova. Other drafts included on the agenda of the plenary meetings regard the electronic form of the lawyer’s mandate, special protection of children against the departure abroad or illicit detaining, prevention and combating of the organized crime, payment for the pollution of the environment.   

The parliament will convene at the plenary meeting on 5 December at 11:00.
