Romanian citizens of Moldova to be able to vote in runoff election of Romania in 59 polling stations as of today

Chisinau, Dec. 6 /MOLDPRES/- 59 polling stations are organized in Moldova for the runoff elections of Romania.
According to the Romanian Embassy in Chisinau, Romanian citizens in the Republic of Moldova are expected to vote in the presidential elections on December 6 (12:00-21:00), December 7 and December 8 (07:00-21:00).
A total of 59 polling stations are open across Moldova. In the North region - 17 polling stations, in the Center region - 34 polling stations, of which 16 in the city of Chisinau, and in the South region - eight polling stations.
In polling stations organized abroad, only supplementary electoral lists are used, which are generated electronically and automatically on the basis of the data recorded in SIMPV.
Mobile ballot boxes are not used abroad.
Romanians have a choice between the two remaining candidates in the race for the seat of Cotroceni - Călin Georgescu (independent) and Elena Lasconi (USR). 14 candidates were on the ballot paper in the first round.
