Moldova, Ukraine to recognize each other's diplomas

Chisinau, Dec. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Governments in Chisinau and Kiev will conclude an agreement on mutual recognition of studies and scientific titles. Members of the parliamentary commission for foreign policy and European integration have opted to start negotiations and sign the document.

The new document will list the types of study documents at all levels of education that will be mutually recognized. These are documents issued from general education to scientific degrees.

According to the authorities, the conclusion of the Agreement will stimulate the process of professional mobility between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. It will also facilitate the employment of Ukrainian teachers in Moldova.

The document will be concluded for an indefinite period and will be submitted to the parliament for ratification.
