Moldovan PM attends Moldova Eco Energetica Gala

Chisinau, Dec. 7. /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean participated in the Moldova Eco Energetica Gala - an event that brought together professionals in the energy sector and people passionate about green innovations, the government's communication department has reported.

The official pointed out that in a period marked by technological revolutions and transition to a greener future, the way energy is used becomes essential both for people's well-being and economic competitiveness.

At the same time, according to the Prime Minister, more and more investors are choosing to initiate projects that contribute to energy efficiency, including through the Government's Program 373. "Today, green energy is not only a necessity, but also a business opportunity, and investments in energy efficiency are the key to a sustainable future," he said.

Recean emphasized that the government will continue to encourage the initiatives of public institutions to support the transition to a more efficient and sustainable energy model, stressing that hundreds of projects are already being implemented through the European Village program.

During the event, the Prime Minister awarded the prize for the best energy efficiency project in the street lighting sector, in the village of Sireți. Prizes were also awarded for the best energy efficiency project in the public buildings sector and the best energy efficiency and renewable energy project implemented by a woman.
