Two ministries of Moldova identify joint measures for facilitating exports

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry (MIDR) and the Agriculture and Food industry Ministry (MAIA) today organized a joint meeting. The participants in the event discussed the consolidation of the infrastructure, in order to facilitate the exports.      

The entities analyzed measures of improving the conditions of transport and logistics, so that Moldovan products reach international markets as quickly and efficiently as possible. The economic operators involved in exports stressed the importance of well-maintained roads and transport networks, which are to provide optimal access to border checkpoints.   

At the same time, the participants in the event identified certain legislative and institutional obstacles which hinder the efficient flow of goods abroad and solutions to overcome them.   

„The development of the infrastructure which supports our exports is essential for the growth of the economy. It is important that the producers have access directly to the infrastructure necessary and, in this respect, we will continue modernizing the networks of roads, railways and other networks, in order to facilitate the transportation of goods abroad,’’ MIDR head Vladimir Bolea said.
