Opportunities for Diaspora: Moldovans from abroad can participate in contests for public offices

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Diaspora citizens admitted to contests for public offices, starting from January 2025, will be able to participate in the written exam at Moldova’s diplomatic missions and consular offices.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE), the agreement on cooperation between MAE and the State Chancellery on the organization and holding of these contests today was signed by Deputy PM, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi and Government’s Secretary General Artur Mija.

According to the quoted source, written examinations for the contests for public offices will be able to be organized at the missions from France, the Czech Republic, United States, Spain, Canada, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Romania, Italy, Austria and Germany.

The document signed sees: providing of information and methodological assistance at the diplomatic missions and consular offices; implementation of the normative framework on the recruiting and selection of candidates; promotion of measures of employment in public service.
