Czech Republic to contribute about 8 million lei to Energy Vulnerability Fund

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - The government of the Czech Republic will contribute 10 million Czech crowns (about 8 million lei) to Moldova’s Energy Vulnerability Fund. Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Moldova Jaromír Plíšek today conveyed the Czech government’s decision to Labour and Social Protection Minister Alexei Buzu.
According to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Chisinau, this contribution will back the vulnerable households, helping them cope with the energy challenges from this winter.
„The Czech Republic is with Moldova and supports the measures meant to protect the worst hit social categories,’’ the diplomatic mission stressed.
