Seven judges manage to pass contest for filling vacant offices at Chisinau Court of Appeal

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLDPRES/ - Seven judges have been declared winners of the contest for filling the vacant offices at the Chisinau Court of Appeal. They passed the test of interview, the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) said. At the same time, three judges were put forward to the Moldovan president for appointment to office.
CSM made public the list of judges who passed the interview at the contest announced for the vacant positions of magistrate at the Chisinau Court of Appeal.

4. Violeta GÎRLEANU, judge, Chisinau Court
5. Eugeniu BEȘELEA, judge, Chisinau Court
6. Diana CORLĂTEANU, judge, Hancesti Court
7. Adrian CERBU, judge, Criuleni Court
CSM put forward three out of seven judges to the Moldovan president for appointment to office at the Chisinau Court of Appeal: Vladislav SCHIBIN, Eugeniu BEȘELEA and Adrian CERBU. He three magistrates passed the external evaluation.
The other judges will be evaluated by the commission for external evaluation, in order to establish the criteria of financial and ethic integrity.
Ten judges participated in the contest. Two of them passed the evaluation and one them withdrew from the race.
The contest ended with the interview test registered with the placement of the video recordings following the hearing of all candidates.
Nineteen positions of judge are held out of those 57 offices of judge at the Chisinau Court of Appeal. One magistrate is suspended from office.
