Moldovan authorities warn about swindles illegally using name of Fiscal Service

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) urges tax payers to be vigilant, given the appearance of more types of swindle with the use of data and symbols of the fiscal authorities.

„This happens through the creation of websites which use the symbols of SFS and through them, they promise the compensation of excessive sums of money and in this respect, they ask for the payment of a commission for the de-blocking of the concerned sums,’’ the institution said.

In case of receiving such notifications, the fiscal body asks to immediately inform the law-enforcement bodies and the State Fiscal Service.

All information regarding the work of the fiscal authorities, taxpayers’ fiscal obligations is published exclusively on the official webpage of the fiscal authority, www.sfs.md, as well as on the pages on the social networks managed by SFS, the State Fiscal Service added.
