Five MPs to attend PACE summer session

Chisinau, June 18. /MOLDPRES/- The Moldovan parliamentary delegation will participate in the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on June 19-23. The meeting will take place in Strasbourg, the French Republic.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the parliamentary delegation will include the head of the national delegation to PACE, the deputy head of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Commission, Ion Groza, the deputy speakers Mihail Popșoi and Vlad Batrîncea, as well as the members of the national delegation to PACE, Ana Calinici and Adela Răileanu.
The agenda of the PACE summer session includes discussions on several current topics, including a debate on the political consequences of the Russian Federation's aggression against Ukraine and the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The agenda also includes the debate of three reports on the integration of migrants and refugees; the social inclusion, through sport, of migrants, refugees and internally displaced persons; health and social protection of undocumented or irregular workers.
President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó, as well as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe will give speeches at PACE session.
