Chisinau, July 10. /MOLDPRES/- Even if we are at the beginning of the third millennium, in a mega-technological Europe, the Republic of Moldova continues to welcome guests with villages, where even the landscape, faith and traditions breathe a special atmosphere.
Hearing about Milestii Mici locality, Ialoveni district, more people make an association with the Winery, which has become famous both in the country and abroad. However, Mileştii Mici still hides an attractive pearl for tourists, such as "Doina și Ion" tourist guesthouse.
It is located right in the center of the village of Mileştii Mici, in a typical Moldovan setting, ready to amaze with everything that is most beautiful of our nation. It is a construction, where the modern blends perfectly with the rustic. The warm, hospitable, family atmosphere makes every moment spent here unforgettable.
Tasty traditional dishes, a wine to match, air you can't get enough of breathing, welcoming owners with an open heart to guests, and a helpful and interesting host, ready to have a drink with anyone who wants to know everything related to the traditions and customs of this corner of the country.
Vitalie Guzun, householder of "Doina și Ion" rural house:
The time has come when it must be recognized that villages have a geographical reality and possibilities with a very rich natural environment, landscapes and traditions of rare beauty and originality. In addition to vacations at the sea, in the mountains or for treatment, rest in the countryside, on farms, in holiday villages, but especially in tourist villages, which are already becoming a "tourist fashion". Tourism in the countryside is no longer just a choice for those with modest incomes and no curiosity, but an alternative, a possibility of recreation far from polluted and noisy cities.
"Doina și Ion" house was arranged by Vitalie Guzun, together with his wife Lucia, with the help of children and parents. For almost 15 years, their house has opened its doors wide to guests for promoting traditional customs, domestic tourism and local development.
It represents a typical Moldovan house in the center of the country, renovated according to the rigors of the time, with all the current utilities, but which has almost completely preserved its "village house" component. It is about furniture, entourage, accessories and others.
Vitalie Guzun: The treasure accumulated over a long time is also a characteristic of great attraction for life in the country, for the practice of rural tourism. The main role of the village is the cultural one, the village being a holy repository, where everything specific to our people is kept.
Our guests will find here, in addition to what they would like to taste in particular, a menu that includes traditional dishes cooked from healthy products and homemade wines of a collection of over 15 years.
Vitalie's desire is to become as well known as possible on the international tourist market, as he is convinced "that we have something to show people from all over the world". So far, it has had guests from Uzbekistan, China, France, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, the Baltic States, and has big plans to expand the geographical space of visitors. "Such a culture as ours, such a wine, such a food, such a song and soul as that of the Moldovan, must be known by as many nations and peoples as possible", says Vitalie Guzun.
Each place is unique and has a different story, it has its traditions, folk costumes and traditional cuisine.
