Two candidates nominated for People's Advocate for child's rights

Chisinau, July 11. /MOLDPRES/- Candidates Tamara Tentiuc and Vasile Coroi will be proposed in the plenary of the Parliament for appointment to the position of People's Advocate for child's rights.

At the interview stage of the competition organized by the Special Commission for selection of candidates for the position of People's Advocate for child's rights, Tamara Tentiuc and Vasile Coroi obtained the highest score, thus passing the interview test. In total, five people were admitted to the interview stage.

According to the legislation, the People's Advocate for child's rights is appointed with the vote of the majority of the elected deputies, for a term of seven years, which cannot be renewed.

The competition for the selection of candidates for the position was launched after the mandate of Maia Bănărescu expired.
