Alexandru Ursu appointed as director of ANRE

Chisinau, July 13. /MOLDPRES/- Alexandru Ursu was appointed today as director of the board of directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE). Parliament passed a draft decision in this regard with 53 votes.
Alexandru Ursu became the winner of the public competition for selecting the candidate for this position, having the maximum score in the interview test.
He was appointed for a 6-year term. The decision enters into force upon adoption.
Alexandru Ursu graduated from the Technical University of Moldova, Faculty of Energy, he is an engineer. He has been working at ANRE for several years, including during the last year, as head of the gas and thermal energy department.
ANRE's board of directors is made up of five directors, appointed by the Parliament, based on a competition.
