CEC member, Lilian Enciu, submitted resignation request

Chisinau, July 13. /MOLDPRES/- Central Electoral Commission (CEC) member Lilian Enciu has submitted a resignation request. This is to be examined by the Parliament tomorrow.

A draft decision in this regard was included on the agenda of the parliament meeting.

Lilian Enciu was appointed by the Parliament as a member of the CEC in October 2021. His candidacy was proposed by the Communists and Socialists Bloc faction.

Under the legislation, the CEC has nine members – eight appointed by the Parliament and one by the country's president.
