Communist leader from Transnistrian region, Oleg Horjan, found shot dead in home

Chisinau, July 17. /MOLDPRES/- Communist leader from the Transnistrian region Oleg Horjan, previously illegally detained by the so-called authorities from Tiraspol, was found shot in his own home in a town near Tiraspol.
The Moldovan Police said it taking all appropriate investigative measures on the crime of murder.
Oleg Horjan was sentenced by the so-called courts in the Transnistrian region to a prison term of 4 years and 6 months for "violent actions against a public figure". Last December, the man was released from illegal detention.
