Three new ministers sworn in before head of state

Chisinau, July 17. /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu today signed the decrees appointing three new ministers, the presidential press service has reported.
General Secretary of the President's Office Andrei Spînu is appointed Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development. MP Dan Perciun, head of the Social Protection, Health and Family Parliamentary Commission was appointed as Minister of Education and Research, and Colonel Adrian Efros, head of the Crisis Management Center was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs. Also today, the appointed ministers took the oath of office in front of Maia Sandu.
The head of state thanked the former ministers for the effort and sacrifice during their mandates: "Each of these people worked hard, each of them was a model of fairness and deserves all our appreciation. These people led ministries and fields in a very complicated time."
Maia Sandu wished the new members of the Government good luck, noting that the initiated reforms must be continued and accelerated. "We have to manage to deal with the current problems, we have to manage to transform the areas that you will manage from today onwards and we have to manage together to make enough reforms so that we can meet our medium-term objective, which is to join the European Union by 2030. I thank you for taking on this challenge and I wish you success!" concluded the president.
