Prime Minister calls for resignations at Termoelectrica, after fuel oil incident

Chisinau, July 26. /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean today requested resignations at Termoelectrica company, after information about alleged burial of a quantity of fuel oil was spread in the public space.

"The situation at Termoelectrica is unacceptable, for two reasons: in terms of attitude towards the environment, and management procedure. By the end of the week, all the management should be reshuffled", Recean said at the beginning of the cabinet meeting.

Recently, video images were broadcast in the public space as if Termoelectrica had buried low-quality fuel oil. As a result, the company announced that an internal investigation will be conducted in this case to establish all the circumstances of the incident and will later publish the results.
