Meeting on Moldova Support Platform to be held in Chisinau in October

Chisinau, August 16 /MOLDPRES/- A meeting of external partners on Moldova Support Platform will be held in Chisinau on October 17. President Maia Sandu made the statement at the ambassadors' meeting today.

"You probably know that we will discuss with our development partners on the support platform for Moldova on October 17, in Chisinau. We will discuss the needs we have for foreign aid and obviously your role going forward remains to promote trade and promote our country as a safe destination for quality foreign investment. Only by developing the economy, only by supporting our exporters, our producers will we have the necessary resources to be able to ensure the solution of all the problems faced by the Republic of Moldova and its citizens", said the head of state.

At the meeting, the president reviewed the foreign policy achievements of the last year and outlined four priorities for the current year.

The Moldova Support Platform was created, following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, at the initiative of Romania, Germany and France.
