Gustar Music Festival organized at Old Orhei complex of Moldova this week-end

Chisinau, 18 August /MOLDPRES/ - The best known and much expected music festival of Moldova, Gustar Music Festival, will be organized at the Orheiul Vechi (Old Orhei) Cultural and Natural Reserve on 18-20 August.
The event will bring together music lovers, people fond of camping and tourism, in order to get into the unique atmosphere of the festival with well-known artists of Moldova and from abroad. Visitors have the option of camping, of visiting the rupestrian monasteries from Orheiul Vechi, tasting delicious dishes of the Moldovan cuisine, tasting Moldovan wines, participating in various activities prepared by Gustar’s organizers and partners.
„For this year edition, we prepare a territorially renewed concept, harmoniously emphasizing the magic and grandeur of Orheiul Vechi. We present an original technical production, which includes a stage endowed with the last generation stage technology equipment. Just as each year, we were attentive at the selection of artists, so that the participants in the festival have chance to discover new names, as well as different music genres. We also extended the festival infrastructure, in order to provide visitors with unforgettable experience,’’ the co-founder and general producer of the festival, Vlad Costandoi, said.
Gustar Music Festival 2023 prepared a varied music schedule. The following artists will perform at the festival: the winners of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, Kalush Orchestra (Ukraine), one of the best known artists from the Balkans, Goran Bregovic (Bosnia & Herzegovina); Bosquito (Romania); Elena Gheorghe (Romania); Trio Mandili (Georgia); Minelli (Romania). Also, musicians and bands from Moldova will perform at the festival, among whom composer and instrumentalist Valentin Boghean, as well as Tharmis & Valentin Uzun, who are popular with their music with rhythms of the Balkans.
More pubs and a big area of gastronomy with a variety of snacks will be opened at the festival. The event will host also a fair of popular craftsmen, an area for children and a zone of yoga, cinema in open air, as well as a library, a park zone and all facilities needed.
In 2010, Gustar Music Festival was the first festival when the live music and sounds of a usual concert were moved to the ‘’stage’’ of a natural amphitheater - one of the most beautiful historical places of Moldova. Due to this fact, Moldova was included in the list of the European states with the best music festivals. The name of the festival is not accidental either, as ‘’gustar’’ is an old word with Latin origins, which means ‘’August.’’
