Euro, U.S. dollar continue appreciating against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 21 August /MOLDPRES/ - The euro and the U.S. dollar this week start a new appreciation against the Moldovan leu, according to data put out by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, the dollar today costs 17.75 lei, up by 0.06 lei, while the euro is quoted at 19.28 lei, increasing by 0.03 lei.

The Ukrainian hryvnia will be by 0.01 leu more expensive and has a value of 0.48 lei. As for the Romanian leu, BNM informed about a quotation of 3.90 lei, similar to the one recorded on 20 August. The Russian rouble will cost, in continuation, 0.18 lei.
