European Village: Roof of kindergarten from north Moldova settlement reconstructed

Chisinau, 21 August /MOLDPRES/ - The kindergarten from the Marculesti village, northern Floresti district, has a new roof. The works cost 3.4 million lei (170,000 euros) and were carried out within a project included in the European Village Programme.

As a result of the project’s implementation, the children who attend the kindergarten will be able to learn in a safe and modern environment. Also, the institution’s employees benefit from improved working conditions.

„We are obliged to provide small children with a safe and stimulating environment, in which they can explore, learn and develop. This project is not only an investment in the building of a kindergarten, but is also an investment in our collective future. The generations due to attend this kindergarten will be the ones due to edify the way towards a prosperous, fair and wise society,’’ said the director of the National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), Mihail Croitoru.

So far, another 25 kindergartens of Moldova have been renovated within the European Village National Programme. As many as 161 projects have been implemented within this programme, out of those 497 projects approved.
