Travel tickets in trolley buses cheapen in Balti city of Moldova

Chisinau, 22 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Balti municipal council, at a today’s meeting, approved a decision on cutting the travel tickets by trolley bus.

Thus, under the decision by the Balti authorities, starting from next October, a travel ticket in trolley bus will cost 4 lei, against 5 lei at present.

Also, the primary school pupils will benefit from free of charge travels and the ones for the secondary education institutions will pay 80 lei for one monthly ticket. The monthly ticket will cost 200 lei for private people and legal entities. The students and pupils of vocational schools and colleges will pay 120 lei for one monthly ticket.

The cost of five lei for one travel in the electric transport was established in last January.
