Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Prosecutor General’s Office (PG) today made specifications following the postponing of the General Assembly of Prosecutors. PG informed that the new members of the Superior Council Prosecutors (CSP) would be elected at the next meeting of the Assembly, due to be announced by the current composition of CSP.

According to the quoted source, the postponing of the election of the new members was triggered by the applications of three prosecutors, for whom the extraordinary evaluation of integrity is to continue, which would give them right to run for the position of member in the new CSP.

As many as 467 prosecutors participated in the Assembly out of those 591 ones who are in office (according to the personnel, there are 720 offices).
