Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today participated in the third issue of the Crimea Platform Summit, held in Kiev. The Moldovan PM referred to the lawlessness of Crimea’s annexation by Russia and numerous consequences triggered regionally and globally, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
„Russia – state aggressor – must be deprived of all gains in the wake of the aggression, which means the full and unconditional liberation of the entire Ukraine, including Crimea. The aggressor state must be called to account for the aggression actions. The people and government of Moldova are united in their commitment to support Ukraine up to the victory. We will never forget the sacrifice of the Ukrainians for their freedom and our common future in the free world,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said in his speech at the Summit.
The official touched upon also four concrete actions which the international community must undertake. It is about the providing of needed means to Ukraine, in order to extend its self-defence at present and in the long run, continuing enforcing the sanctions aimed at weakening the economic and financial potential of Russia and ensuring the calling to account of the aggressor. The PM reiterated Moldova’s support for the creation of an international tribunal, due to judge those guilty of the war crimes against Ukraine.
Also, in his country speech, Prime Minister Dorin Recean informed about the routes for the export of Ukraine’s cereals to world markets. He noted that Moldova was prepared to serve as transport knot in the process of reconstruction of the neighbour country.
„We provide ways for the export of Ukrainian cereals to world markets, despite the effects of Russia’s aggression war on our agricultural producers, exporters and the economy on the whole. We are resolute and already extend these routes, so that we act as a transport hub for the efforts of Ukraine’s reconstruction,’’ Dorin Recean said.
