Moldovan Superior Council of Magistracy partially accepts applications on resignation of two Supreme Court of Justice magistrates

Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) has partially admitted the application on the resignation of the acting president of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), Tamara Chisca-Doneva. She was dismissed from office starting from today.
Tamara Chisca-Doneva left the CSM’s meeting ahead of the decision’s approval and asked for informing her about the decision subsequently.
Also at the today’s meeting, CSM partially admitted the application on the resignation of CSJ magistrate Ion Guzun. According to the CSM decision, he is dismissed from office as of 25 August.
Tamara Chisca-Doneva has been judge at CSJ since 2003 and Ion Guzun – starting from 2014.
Following the today’s decision by CSM, the Supreme Court of Justice remained only with three judges in office and seven temporarily detached judges.
